The Holiday Makers’ Multimedia Package.
Living in the digital age requires everyone to be equipped with a digital skill or two. Learning basics about photography and editing can come in handy when it comes to running business digital channels, instead of hiring a marketing agency that will charge through the roof. Of course, as your business grows, you have to consider hiring a digital marketing expert or a marketing Agency.
At UMCAT School of Journalism and Mass Communication, we believe that multimedia skills in this digital era are as essential as knowing to give a CPR. And there’s no better time to acquire a practical skill than holidays.
That’s why this holiday, we are opening up our space to all young adults to learn and get acquainted with day-to-day digital and multimedia skills. The program will run for 2 months with F4 and F6 vacists as our main target, but we remain open to any young people interested in the program. The theme for the program is “Building a skilled generation.”
As an institute offering practical Journalism and communication skills, we feel obliged to set the next generation in the right direction. And this direction is skills for self-reliance, community development, and a highly skilled workforce, just as the Ministry of Education and Sports advocates through its TVET program.
By the end of the 2 months course, participants should be able to maneuver around with ease when it comes to content creation and perceiving the digital world not just as an amusement park but, rather a business world with endless opportunities for them to better their lives and their communities.
There are so many ways digital channels can be a source of income for young people who can take time and learn the economic ways of the digital world. We have designed the Holiday Makers’ Multimedia Package to help young adults get at this point of realization.
